Art Park
Art Park is a new Byron Bay based label creating art inspired garments that are being stocked by the best retailers around the globe. Creators Craig Rochfort and Paul McNeil teamed up to start this new art inspired company that is forged out of a love of art, literature (and surfing). Long time Mambo artist and Art Park Creative Director, Paul McNeil continues a multi-disciplined career in the world of art and design, including a fine art career, successful book publishing projects and collaborator at the now infamous Sea Surfboards. Art Park's summer range includes a quality range of artist tees, board shorts and head gear. Word about Art Park has spread around the globe and our family of artists continues to grow... Reg Mombassa added his artistic clout as did many other notable artists such as, Fiona Lowry (Moran Prizewinner), international art star Kill Pixie, the two surfin’ Californians, Alex Knost and Alex Kopps, rock royalty Ben Brown, UK weirdo Jody Barton, Graf. monster Beastman, design goddess Deanne Cheuk and many more... These artists are core to creating imagery that is a hallmark of Art Park's apparel program. In addition to our apparel range, Art Park operates the Art Park Artist Residency Program — this twice yearly program provides artists free travel to Byron Bay, accommodation and daily cash allowance for the selected recipients. Once they arrive in Byron Bay they are free to indulge their creativity amongst some of the most beautiful and tranquil surroundings in the world(!). Art Park opened its first flagship gallery and store in Byron Bay in August 2011.
