NENA & PASADENA is the collaboration of AFL star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin together with the creative team behind Fashion Labels Kiss Chacey & Sushi Radio. In early 2009 Lance approached his close mates Ryan Griggs and Paul Edwards, co-founders of successful Australian clothing labels Kiss Chacey and Sushi Radio. It wasn’t long after this that the concept for NENA & PASADENA was born. From the outset the Boy’s main objective has been to produce a brand that had the quality of a high end product at a more affordable price point that would appeal to a broader cross section of their fans and the ever growing fashion conscious youth of Australia. Lance is also working with Co-Director of NENA & PASADENA Tim Arandt on setting up The Lance Franklin Foundation; The Foundation has been set up to be an ongoing support for young Aboriginal kids, with a portion of the proceeds of sales of NENA & PASADENA product will be distributed by the foundation to various projects to aid in support and development of the Aboriginal community.
